Reading Room Titles
Renee
I was
six years old when Mom
brought you home for the
first time. Although I had
one other brother and 2 other
sisters to play
with...you..well, you were
different. I didn't quite
know what it was.
(Remember...I was only six!)
I was
very amazed by you because
first of all, you were so
daggone small. I felt as
though you had always been
around...but you didn't show
yourself...until Mom brought
you home.
As
you grew, I didn't let you
get too far out out of my
site. Gee...I was your big
sister...I HAD to watch out
for the baby. As "the
baby" got bigger, she
ended up being my chaperone
on dates. LOL..."ya
little informer!"
When
you started school I walked
you to and from...just to
make sure you got there okay!
On the way home, I would
carry all your books. And
when you were sick, I'd stay
home to watch you so Mom
could work.
When
you started junior high and
wanted to turn in a
"really cool"
project..."We'd"
lol come up with some awesome
poem about the mole on your
back! You know it...
I was born
with a built in friend
I think I'll call him mole
He lives on my back in a
little brown sack
And travels where ever I go!
Ya got an
"A+" on that one,
dittin' cha? lol
Well..Petey...here
it is sister...34 years
later. And WHERE are WE at?
Well...today
You're
going to work with me
everyday! hahah Business
partners. How else would it
have turned out?
Still
swingin' on the front porch
swing singin' the blues.
Flickin'
high speed rubber bands
equipped with a paper clip
for added power!!
Callin
each other everyday...like we
haven't talked in years.
.....and
the beat goes on and on and
on.
I
just want you to know...I
wouldnt change one
thing...no..not one! I love
ya Petey..you'll always be my
little bird. And I will awas
love ya more than my luggage.
And I will NEVER EVER forget
the wonderful memories we
have. My memory is "very
long"!
P.S. The day
Mom brought you home, I
leaned over and whispered in
your ear, "I waited for
you".
